All of these have been used to describe the results of using various products offered by Dave Stanard and Silver Circle Audio. But how could all of that apply to my system? I have power conditioning and after market “high end” power cords. How could these products make that much of difference in my system? But such glowing recommendations from people with some really serious systems like these really got my attention. So, I put a PP1 5.0 and all Vesuvius power cords in my system. Within just seconds of playing an LP all I could think of was “BIG”. In addition to all of the descriptive language used above, the most dramatic thing I could think of was that my system just sounded BIGGER, blacker, deeper. In another 15-20 minutes of everything getting all “warmed up” these characteristics just continued to mature. It’s genuinely quite remarkable.

In the world of high end audio my system would have to be considered moderate at best. But as of this moment, I do not have any sense of “listener envy”. If you are thinking of changing any piece of your system to get a better sound you would do well to first put Dave’s products into your system. Two things will happen. You will have built a base of clean, fast, remarkable power upon which you can grow into any system of the highest reaches of the audio spectrum. But more importantly, you just might find that you have a whole new sounding system that you’re pleasantly surprised with.
